Introduction to Hand Raised Copper Vessels

Adult | Registration opens Friday, December 26, 2025 12:00 AM

In this two-day workshop explore hand raising hollow form vessels.

Starting with a flat sheet of copper learn the use of varying stake anvils and hammers to raise it into a vertical form.  Tin lining and metal finishing will also be covered.

Students should expect long days spent hammering. While the hammers are relatively small, raising is a very physical process.

**Hearing protection is highly recommended**
