Build a Dovetailed Box!
Adult | Available
Wooden boxes can be beautiful as well as useful.
Building a dovetailed box gives you an opportunity to learn some traditional joinery while making a big impact with a small amount of wood. This class will focus on making through-dovetail joints, using a combination of hand and power tools. The boxes have sides and ends made from 1/4" hardwood, and a bottom made form 1/8-in. plywood. The techniques you learn here can also be useful for other woodworking projects!
