Each week we'll explore a different aspect of the short story. Writers will engage in creative exercises in dialogue, setting, character, plot, and beyond. This course is open to writers of all skill and experience levels

Sara Reish Desmond taught high school English before earning her MFA in Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has been published in journals such as The Kenyon Review, Los Angeles Review, Front Porch and Waterstone. Her short story collection, What We Might Become, will be published in 2024 and centers on the idea of liminal characters and experiences. www.sarareishdesmond.com
