FYACS presents Melrose resident and historical novelist, Jane Healey, for our first online Author Talk! Jane will talk frankly about the writing and creative life, her research process, as well as the business of publishing in a one-hour online event. Healey fans will also get a sneak peek of her forthcoming novel, The Secret Stealers, to be published in March.

Healey is the author of the bestselling novel The Beantown Girls (2019) and The Saturday Evening Girls Club (2017). In her third novel, The Secret Stealers (March 2021), a restless young widow and brilliant linguist transforms herself into an American spy in Nazi occupied France as part of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Many of the scenes and characters in Healey’s book are based on true events and real men and women. 
 
The live, one-hour Author Talk will be presented via Zoom; participants will be able to ask questions and pre-order a signed copy of the book through Whitelam Books of Reading, MA.
