Using the natural world as our inspiration and material, we will explore, collect, and create two and three-dimensional artworks using bio-materials both in and out of the studio. This course will study the works of such earth and environmental artists as Robert Smithson, Nancy Holt, Andy Goldsworthy and Edith Meusnier.

Artists will experiment with ephemeral installation work and living art as well as exploring techniques to integrate natural materials into studio practice.

All levels welcome.

Sketchbook required, additional materials to be discussed depending on individual projects.
