Whose story is it? How does manipulating the point of view in a piece of writing impact its delivery, its tone. even its success?  In this month's creative writing session, we'll explore the idea of perspective (otherwise known as point of view) by engaging with various prompts and taking a look at examples by writers who manipulate point of view with great effect. This session will meet in person as well as live, via Zoom. 


Sara Reish Desmond taught high school English before earning her MFA in Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has been published in journals such as The Kenyon Review, Los Angeles Review, Front Porch and Waterstone. Her short story collection, What We Might Become, will be published in 2024 and centers on the idea of liminal characters and experiences. www.sarareishdesmond.com
