Adult Ceramics: Wheel-throwing & Hand-building (Wednesday 6-9PM)

This semi-private ceramics class with a maxmum of 6 students focuses on learning and developing hand-building and wheel-throwing skills. Students will receive individualized instruction based on interests and experiece level. Open to students at all experience levels. Scheduling: 3 hrs/week. 6 weeks of class plus an additional glazing class session on a Saturday approximately 2 weeks after the session ends.
- The glazing session will be held on January 11'th between 10AM-3PM. Class fee includes Instruction and 20 Lbs of Clay with glazes and firing. The studio provides basic tools; however, you are welcome to bring your own Kemper Pottery Tool Kit. All pieces are limited to 8” in height and width. Alessia O'Brien
Alessia O’Brien is a ceramicist and printmaker based in Melrose, MA. Their approach to art is tactile, organic, and fun, with a soft spot for functional work. They graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2016, and have been a working artist since.
