In this 2 hour introductory workshop, potters will learn the basics of the Pottery Wheel in a small semi private atmosphere with a maximum of 5 students.

Instruction, materials, glazing, and firing costs for 1 piece finished and glazed by staff are included in the fee.
Additional items can be fired for $10 to be billed to your account. Maximum 2 items/person.
All pieces are limited to a maximum of 8” in height and width.
Pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately 6 weeks after the class session ends. Notification will be sent to the email address provided with your registration.
Workshops with fewer than 4 participants will be cancelled 24 hours before.
Please wear clothes that can get messy and bring an apron and small hand towel.

Alessia O’Brien is a ceramicist and printmaker based in Melrose, MA. Their approach to art is tactile, organic, and fun, with a soft spot for functional work. They graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2016, and have been a working artist since.
