This is a 2 part Canva Workshop. Participants can register for classes individually or as a bundle.

In this condensed Introduction to Canva class, we will cover the basics of Canva's functionality to help you create a digital (and printable) flyer for your business/organization. We will discuss marketing strategy and design principles, helpful features, and how to best use Canva for your business needs.

In this condensed Intermediate Canva class, we will build on Canva basics to create social media graphics for your business/organization. We will cover more advanced features and design principles to help you create more professional, impactful visuals. You will learn how to leverage templates to optimize your workflow.

  • Canva is a free marketing tool with an app and desktop version. We will be using the desktop version. Please create a Canva account prior to the class if you are able and do not already have one.
  • Please come prepared with:
  • - Your computer (the facility can provide some computers, but we ask you bring your own if you have one)
  • - A folder on your computer with brand assets (logos, photos, etc.) **optional**
