Gentle Hatha Yoga integrates the body, breath and mind with breathing techniques and meditation through standing and laying down yoga postures. This yoga class consists of yoga postures to promote flexibility and clear the mind. Beginner and mixed level are welcome. This yoga class provides yoga blocks and straps to focus on alignment and stability.

  • Gentle Hatha Yoga is a 5-week class.

  • When: 5:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m. 

    March 22nd, 29th and April 5th, 12th, & 19th  

    Where: Morris Hall in Craven Lounge.  There will be a sign in the lobby of Morris Hall directing you to the room for the specific class.

  • Please bring a yoga mat, water, and wear comfortable clothes.
Bolger, Valerie

Being passionate about health has led Valerie Bolger to earn her Master’s in Health Education and 200-hour YogaFit Teacher Training. Valerie is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Sports and Exercise Sciences Department and Health and Yoga Teacher for the Office of Continuing Education at SUNY Oneonta. Being born and raised in Central New York has given her an opportunity to live a healthy and positive lifestyle by gardening, hiking, and swimming. She continues her education by participating in a variety of professional development trainings.
