This ServSafe® Food Manager Certification & Renewal Class is 8 hours in total and is designed to meet state and local food safety requirements. Whether you're new to food service or a seasoned professional, this course will give you the tools to ensure safe food handling and regulatory compliance. A 6-hour instructional course includes a variety of teaching methods to keep classes engaging and educational. The 2-hour proctored exam period with our ServSafe® Registered Instructor/Proctor immediately follows instruction. Certifications expire 5 years after the date of issue and can be renewed at any point.
This class includes comprehensive instruction, interactive discussions and real-world examples to help reinforce key concepts such as
Foodborne Illness and losses associated with an outbreak
Pathogens, Viruses, Bacteria, Parasites, Fungi Biological Toxins
Food Allergens and Contamination
Good Personal Hygiene Program
Monitoring Time and Temperature
Food Safety Management Systems
There will be occasional breaks throughout instruction, and a period for lunch. Participants are able to pick up the course book, included in class purchase, prior to the date of instruction to study and review material.

Formerly the Executive Chef at SUNY Delhi and now restaurant owner, Hannah has trained and mentored many students and professionals in safe food handling and kitchen operations. She combines real-world experience with a passion for knowledge, creating a supportive learning environment for everyone to succeed. Hannah's classes are clear, practical, and rooted in the realities of food service work - whether you're just starting out or leading a team.
