Introduction to Canva

In this condensed Introduction to Canva class, we will cover the basics of Canva's functionality to help you create a digital (and printable) flyer for your business/organization. We will discuss marketing strategy and design principles, helpful features and how to best use Canva for your business needs.
Canva is a free marketing tool with an app and desktop version. We will be using the desktop version. Please create a Canva account prior to the class if you are able and do not already have one.
Please come prepared with:
Your computer (the facility can provide some computers, but we ask you bring your own if you have one)
A folder on your computer with brand assets (logos, photos, etc.) **optional**
Laurel Ames
Laurel Ames is an award-winning creative director, designer, and illustrator with 12+ years of experience building brands. She graduated with a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute and has since led impactful creative for Procter & Gamble, L’Oreal Paris, Google, Javits Center + many more. When she’s not designing, she’s in the kitchen perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe.
