Through interactive lessons, hand-on practice, and real-life scenarios, participants will build confidence to respond to emergencies and care for young children responsibly.

Dan Rocklein

I have been dedicated to public safety and education for over two decades. I began my career as a lifeguard in 1999 and have proudly served as a Lifeguard Instructor for the Town of Islip since 2004. My passion for lifeguarding and lifesaving has been a consistent thread throughout my life, driving me to train and mentor others in essential water safety and life saving skills.
In addition to my work on the beach, I have been a committed educator since 2009, working to shape young minds in the classroom. From 2012 to 2016, I also served in the United States Army, completing one enlistment and gaining valuable leadership and discipline that continue to inform my professional life today.
Whether in the water, the classroom, or in uniform, I bring a strong sense of duty, commitment, and passion to everything I do.
