Workforce Development | Available
As businesses and organizations begin to understand the role that trauma can play in the lives of individuals, many leaders are turning to trauma-informed perspectives to enhance their workplace environments. This leading edge workshop offers leaders and other professionals in any field or sector the opportunity to expand their awareness of how trauma can hinder the performance of their employees.
With the understanding that many performance issues in the workplace may actually be the result of avoidance behaviors rooted in trauma, this workshop invites workplace leaders to see trauma awareness as an integral and essential part of talent development.
This workshop is ideal for anyone currently serving in a leadership position, who is interested in leadership, or has an interest in related topics. Participants from all disciplines, fields, industries, and sectors, are likely to gain valuable new insights.
- Some topics we will be exploring include:
- the effects of micro-traumas in the workplace
- how leaders can identify situations resulting from a trauma response
- how leaders can examine the workplace effects of their own experiences
- how leaders can coach their team members in overcoming avoidance behaviors to improve performance from a trauma-informed perspective
