This fun and informative course provides a great foundation for the mosaic artist. There is so much to learn that most people return time after time. You will experience the creative process of mosaics one step at a time, way beyond the naïve concept of “crazy paving” and “coloring in” with broken tiles. Many varieties of mosaic materials will be covered. Students provide their own materials. You will enhance your cutting, shaping, and use classical laying techniques of tesserae.

 PREREQUISITE: Previous mosaic experience required. This is not a beginning course.
