419 - Multi-Level Metalsmithing

Learn or enhance your skills in designing, sawing, soldering, riveting, forming, and stone setting in this multi-level class. Demonstrations will be tailored to the skill level of the individual students.

This is an 8-week class ending on November 4. No Class on October 14. 


  • Beginning & Intermediate Jewelry and Metalsmithing Supplies


    Tools are provided to you by TAC.


    You may wish to share your ideas with me at our first class and I will better direct you as to what you will need to purchase but they will include:

    • Silver, copper, or bronze sheet and wire are available for purchase at TAC.  

    • Beads and stringing equipment 


    For future supplies,

    Rio Grande also has a nice selection tools and materials metalsmiths need.

    Dave’s Rock Shop in Evanston for stones to set.  Stick with round and ovals over ¼” in diameter for beginning projects
