409B - Beginning Jewelry

For beginners with no experience and advanced beginners who want to continue learning basic skills. This class will focus on soldering, sawing, forming, texturing of metals, and basic stone setting.
The Jewelry studio has a dress code, due to the presence of fire, chemicals, sharp objects, and heavy objects the Studio.
To minimize the risk of injury, all Jewelry students must wear:
- Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals)
- Pants, leggings, or long shorts
- Long sleeve shirts or t-shirts (No crop tops or tank tops)
- Long hair pulled back
- Most supplies, including Copper sheet and wire, are provided to you by TAC and are included in your supply fee.
*Silver sheet and wire (if you choose to work in silver) are available for purchase at TAC.
