500- Introduction to Mosaics

In this class, students will be introduced to the beauty of mosaics using basic mosaic methods and techniques. We will focus on how to use mosaic tools to cut and shape glass, stone, and ceramic. Grout, thins-set, and a choice of wood or ceramic substrate are provided.
This class is for students with no previous Mosaics experience.
Materials and tools will be discussed on the first day. Students will be provided with a 4x4" substrate (choice of wood, or ceramics tile) and a choice of glass. Basic tools, glue, and grout are provided.
