  • My name is Omar Alalamat, and I was born on November 20th, 1983, in Madaba, Jordan, famously known as the "City of Mosaics." Madaba is rich in history, and its ancient mosaics are one of the most important cultural treasures of the region. Growing up in this historical city, I developed a deep appreciation for its heritage and craftsmanship.

I initially pursued studies in mosaic art at the Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration (MIMAR), where I honed my skills in this unique and ancient craft. After that, I went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from the University of Jordan, which further fueled my passion for preserving cultural history.

    T
o deepen my expertise, I continued my academic journey with a Master's in Economics of Cultural Heritage at the University of Catania in Italy. This has allowed me to combine my interests in cultural preservation with a deeper understanding of the economic aspects that influence heritage conservation.

In addition to my academic work, I’ve also worked as a professional tour guide, leading biblical, educational, cultural, and historical groups through the region
