384 - Beginning Painting: Spring

Adult Class | Available

In this beginning painting class, we will build skills in composition, color mixing, brush work, and creating texture and depth while using the beauty of spring flowers, birds and landscape as our subject. We will use still life and images as references, and look for inspiration in floral and landscape paintings of master painters.

  • When considering acrylic painting the colors alone are exciting. Do you have a favorite flower bonsai, or other foliage that you are interested in painting? The brands here are suggested for quality and affordability. I found that the prices listed here (Dick Blick) are less expensive than at other stores. Really important is working with good quality paint. When the pigment is true in hue you’re off to a great start.
