714A- Mixed Media: Collage and Assemblage*

In this class, students receive individual instruction. Combine a variety of media in an artwork: paint, papers, fabrics, beads, wood, glass, found objects, and more! Bring supplies from the list and any materials you gather. ONLY for current students who have taken this course before.
This is a 4-week class. No class on October 2.
- Tacky glue
- Acrylic Gel Medium for collage and photo transfers. If you have regular acrylic medium for your paints that is fine.
- You can bring your acrylic paints
- Scissors
- Clear mailing tape (Walgreen’s and office supply stores sell this tape). It is clear and about 2” wide.
- B/W photocopies (not computer printed) of images for collage (personal or otherwise) used for photo transfers, can be copied at Kinko’s or Staples.
- Magazines to cut
- Ruler
- Sponge brushes
- Colored tissue paper
Other:- A support for the collage can be a canvas board, pr illustration board. You can collage in a cigar box or other small box (Michael’s has them). In the box goes your personal items mentioned at the top
