370 - The Painters Studio

Adult Class | Registration opens 10/24/2025 12:00 AM CDT

This 3-week class offers individual instruction with students progressing at their own pace. Beginning students will be introduced to painting in watercolors or acrylics. Advanced painters can explore new methods or work on an existing project. 

 

  • Recommended for beginning students:
    • Photos to work from
    • Small sketchbook
    • Ebony Pencil
    • Eraser
    • Painting surface (dependent on medium), 9x12"or larger
    • Sponge or rag
    • Paint tray or palette
    • Water container 
    • 3 Paint brushes: 1” flat, #8 Round, #2 Round (Sable or Soft white nylon are best)
    Paints (if working in Watercolor)
    • Ultramarine
    • Cerulean
    • Alizarin Crimson
    • Cadmium Red Light
    • Cadmium Yellow Light
    • Yellow ochre
    • Cadmium Orange
    • Hookers Green
    • Payne’s Grey
    • Burnt Sienna
    • Burnt Umber

    Paints (if working in Acrylic)
    • Ultramarine
    • Alizarin Crimson
    • Cadmium Red Light
    • Cadmium Yellow Light
    • Yellow ochre
    • Burnt Sienna
    • Burnt Umber
