124X - Youth Ceramics - Hand-building, Ages 7-11

Does your child love to create, imagine, and play? This class will help them make art with clay and be proud of their creations! They will learn hand-building skills and techniques such as coiling, slab, and pinch pots. We will explore figurative and functional art and play with decoration and textures. They will get one-on-one instruction and gain confidence in their ideas and skills while creating their own personal sculptures that explore their unique interests. Class price includes clay, glaze, and firings.
Open to Fall 2025 Students only.
- Students are recommended to bring a smock, apron, or come "dressed for mess."
