406 - Hammered Link Chain
Workshop | Registration opens 11/21/2025 12:00 AM CST
In this workshop, students will learn to wind and cut jump rings, assemble and solder the links, and hammer texture to creade a handmade chain with a clasp. Each student will design and complete a necklace or bracelet by the end of the workshop. There will be a break for lunch halfway through the workshop.
Previous soldering experience recommended.
- Silver is not included in tuition price. Students can bring their own silver to work with or purchase silver (6 feet of 16 gauge round wire) from the Jewelry Studio. Cost for silver is about $60 (depending on market value).
Can be purchased from Rio Grande or from Jewelry Studio.
