616 - Murals - Ages 9-12 (Week 5)

Come join us for 1-week focusing on Murals and other forms of street art. Looking at examples from across the world, students will create small projects exploring different forms of public art—building up to a collaborative mural painting that will be displayed at TAC! You will learn the basics of color theory, build upon painting and drawing skills, and work with other related art materials.
Please make sure to bring a nut-free snack, a water bottle, and come dressed-for-mess. Snack breaks will be held outside (weather permitting), so make sure to pack a hat and/or some sunscreen.
Mural camp can be messier than usual, so we advise campers wear old shoes as paint often makes its way onto shoes.
