315 - Acrylic Paint Studio

This class is for adults who want to improve their acrylic painting skills. Personalized attention will be given to students at their own level. Experimentation will be done with acrylic paint to better understand color, composition, and technique. Beginners will be given step-by-step instructions to achieve success with their paints and tools. Learn in a fun and casual atmosphere.
This is an 8-week class starting April 7.
Acrylic Paints
- Titanium white (a large tube)
- Mars black
- Primary yellow
- Primary red
- Phthalo green
- Cerulean blue
- Primary blue
- Purple
- Burnt umber
Brushes
- Small, medium and large flat brushes with largest being at least 1” wide
- Small, medium and large round brushes
Miscellaneous
- Canvas boards 16” x 20” or larger knife (trowel-shaped with rounded tip)
- Pencils
- Kneaded eraser
- A smock or old shirt
- Rags or paper towels
- Small empty jars or containers (with lids)
