In this workshop, we will learn basic phototransfer techniques and ways to incorporate them with mixed-media. Although this workshop will focus primarily on utilizing and layering paint with phototransfers, participants will have the opportunity to print and collage as well. Great for artists looking to explore new techniques and push the limits of their imagination.
- Images – Xerox copies – black and white recommended (If using text reverse the image (mirror image) words will read backwards if not reversed)
- Foam Brushes –2 Inches
- Scotch tape – clear
- Plastic bowls for water
- X-acto knife
- Cutting boards or cardboard to cut on
- Canvas – 12x12 recommended
- Golden Soft Acrylic Gel Medium - Gloss, 32 oz jar
- Metal ruler
- Scissors
- Acrylic paint (Assorted colors)
- Magazines
