Class Description

Do you have a favorite cozy sweatshirt or hoodie but you don’t care for the graphics? What about a T-shirt that you love, but it is slightly damaged? In this class, we will upcycle your old clothes by covering the old image on your sweatshirt with T-shirt fabric and complete the look with hand embroidery.

Required Supplies

- Embroidery floss:

Please bring at least one skein (or unit) of embroidery floss in a color that will match your project. You may bring as many skeins/colors as you would like. Examples:

Michael’s: DMC® 6 Strand Embroidery Floss, Blue, Color: 32 Dark Blueberry | Michaels
Blick: DMC Pearl Cotton Thread | BLICK Art Materials

- Please bring in one hoodie or sweatshirt that has an image or graphics that you want to cover up.

-Also, bring in a T-shirt or another sweatshirt that has an image, graphics, or even just a color that you want to use for your final project.
