The Basic Life Support Mock code exercise is a simulated clinical scenario designed to train healthcare providers and responders in performing emergency resuscitation procedures.  These simulations help reinforce skills, improve team coordination, and ensure adherence to guidelines during actual cardiac emergencies. These scenarios are led by AHA instructors who have many years of experience with code scenarios & teach Basic Life Support skills on a regular basis.  You will be expected to perform CPR as if on a real person.  You will have hands-on experience with an AED.
Student IPE teams will have the opportunity to practice the IPE core competencies of teamwork, communication, roles and responsibilities, and shared values and ethics to enhance learning about patient safety.
