Course Description

Share in the fun of handbuilding with your child or grandchild during this all-levels class. Students will make a wide variety of functional and sculptural pieces in a fun, supportive environment.

*This class pairs well with Lisa Campbell's "Yoga and Mindfulness for Children ages 5-12" meeting 12:30pm to 2:30pm later in the day! Kids can spend Saturday morning and afternoon learning and playing at CAC!

Schedule Notes:
No class on 7/4 due to CAC closure for 4th of July Holiday.
There will be a substitute teacher, Sage Kelsey, on Saturday 7/25.

Special Notes

If you have registered your child, please fill out, sign and return a Student Information form to the office before the start of your child's class. If your child will not be attending a class please let the office know by calling 610-566-1713 x11 or emailing info@communityartscenter.org.

Kate's Webpage Kate White teaches mixed media and ceramics every weekday at the CAC and has been a member of the Potter's Guild since 2006. "I've always loved to paint and draw ever since I can remember. When I was a young girl I was given pottery lessons with Ricky Wolfe in her Swarthmore studio but it wasn't until I was attending West Chester University, studying Philosophy that I decided to take a pottery class as an elective and I fell in love with it. I took every ceramics class that was offered there and then I started taking classes at CAC."
