We will be exploring classic album cover art from the glory days of Rock n Roll. We will be creating black and white drawings, sometimes exploring composition, sometimes portraiture, sometimes expressionistic drawing. We will all be drawing together from the same imagery. Each week we will create a new drawing. Probably images include: The Clash - London Calling, Patti Smith - Horses, Grace Jones - Nightclubbing, Pink Floyd - The Division Bell. In Part 2 of this class week will paint an original self portrait imagining our own personal rock album cover.
